I’ve got to squeeze in a post before the month of June is
up.
Back in May, we went to Maryland Day at the University of Maryland . It was a big deal, a lot
bigger that I was expecting; there was way too much for anyone to see in one
day. We dressed the kids in their gear visited Chris's office and "did physics" on the blackboard, saw the farm on campus, had free ice
cream, and got to ride on daddy’s bus, a HUGE excitement for Jack.
Chris and Jack also went on the Father/son campout, and they
got one picture. Chris can talk about it more, but I guess it went ok.
And here is some cute Juliet pictures of her watching the
washing machine.
There is an elementary school near our house that has a nice
modern playground, and then in a separate area it has this all metal old
playground. Chris was doing gymnastics stuff on the bars and so Jack thinks
that playing on the metal playground is “mastics.”
My little brother and his wife were in town briefly so I
loaded up the kids one day and drove down to meet them on the mall. It is still
weird to me that I live here, that I can just drive down to the Lincoln memorial on any
afternoon. We’re getting to know our way around a little more now, but there
still is so much we need to see.
And the last picture time wise should be in the next post,
but it is too good that I have to have it now. This is a picture my other
brother Tom took when he took him to the bathroom at church. Jack loves using
“stand up potties” because it’s a big novelty for him.
